When I embarked on my renovation project in late 2012, I had wanted to update the look and feel of my apartment as well as make some practical changes to it to suit my life needs. I didn't, however, want to spend a bomb on the remodeling so needed to keep the renovations simple enough yet ensure they would meet my objectives.
My key requirements were:
My key requirements were:
- Brighten up the apt, especially in the kitchen and master and guest bathrooms, which were tiled in an ugly dark green marble that I suppose was fashionable in the 90s.
- Open up the kitchen. I wanted more light, more work space, and new appliances. With a renewed focus on health, diet and nutrition, I intended to spend a lot more time in the kitchen preparing home cooked meals.
- Rejig my study into a bright airy home office, with lots of enclosed storage space. I am now working from home and hence the need for a proper home office. And again, as part of my desire to declutter my life, I abhor mess and just want things to be tidy.
- Streamline my living room. Also an attempt to declutter my environment, I wanted to wall-mount my TV to be able to do away with the bulky TV console. A TV wall would also create a focal point for what was a large bare wall.
Your place could be considered even by event planner singapore for holding parties and functions!
